Steve Storch and Bijan Amini started their careers at large, full-service law firms, but that wasn’t their style. They believed that complex litigation could be handled more effectively and efficiently by a smaller, handpicked team of intelligent, skilled and tenacious trial lawyers. They also wanted the freedom to take on cases that a large law firm won’t because of “institutional conflicts” and leverage their willingness to share risk with their clients. So they decided to start their own boutique firm—and that was 26 years ago.
Since then, Storch Amini has earned a reputation based on obtaining successful results in federal and state courts nationwide. Every lawyer on our team is dedicated to fully understanding your business, its objectives, and all aspects of your case. Then we design a strategy to achieve your goals. We’re proactive, not reactive, and pride ourselves on thinking outside the box to solve your problems.
Our size is a strength. We routinely go up against much bigger law firms and get favorable results for our clients. Our e-discovery expertise and ability to execute discovery plans in large, high stakes cases distinguishes us from other firms, large and small. That, combined with our trial experience, gives us an edge so we can handle bet-the-company litigation from start to finish on a cost-effective basis. We’re large enough to take on complicated matters and small enough to ensure maximum productivity.
Our areas of expertise include complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, intellectual property disputes, professional liability, and appellate practice. With the addition of Eric Seiff to the Storch Amini team, we also offer family law and criminal defense counsel.
We work with a diverse set of clients, both large and small, in a myriad of industries including financial services, technology, health care, insurance, electronic trading, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, real estate, and biopharmaceutical.
